Russia does not intend to comply with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruling requiring Georgian citizens to pay over 250 million euros, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated. When asked about the possibility of improving Russian-Georgian relations if the payment were made, Peskov noted that the Kremlin views this issue as a separate matter.

The court in Grozny rejected the request of the lawyers of the “Team Against Torture” for the examination of Zarema Musayeva’s state of health necessary for hospitalization. According to the judge, it is beyond doubt.
The court's decision was motivated by the fact that the defense did not provide the relevant documents indicating that Musaeva needs inpatient treatment. The woman suffers from type 2 diabetes and a number of concomitant diseases that require constant medical supervision. Recently, her health has been deteriorating: acute hypertensive crises are periodically accompanied by loss of consciousness.
Recall that Zarema Musaeva was abducted in Nizhny Novgorod in January 2022, and then taken to Chechnya. Despite health problems, she is being held in a pre-trial detention center on charges of violence against a representative of the authorities, which is dangerous to life and health. According to investigators, when delivered, she scratched the face of a police officer. Examinations refuted these allegations.
