Pashinyan approved the decision of the international court to release Karabakh from Azerbaijani blockade.

The UN International Court of Justice in The Hague has in fact recognized that the Lachin corridor in Karabakh is closed by Azerbaijan. The highest court recorded the attempts of Baku to mislead the world community, because Azerbaijan claims that the road is open. This was stated by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
Yerevan is waiting for Baku to open the Lachin corridor, because Azerbaijan has been obliged to unlock the road. In addition, the court recognized the existence of Nagorny Karabakh as an international unit and the presence of a humanitarian crisis in it», - said Pashinyan.
The Prime Minister of Armenia also noted that the UN International Court of Justice had rejected Azerbaijan’s request for interim measures of protection against Armenia. The charges against Baku related to the mines allegedly carried out by the Armenian side in Karabakh. At the same time, the court rejected Armenia’s requests to restore the supply of natural gas in Karabakh. Yerevan did not provide sufficient evidence that Azerbaijan was obstructing gas supply.
The Lachin corridor is the only road connecting Nagorny Karabakh to Armenia. It is under the control of Azerbaijan and under the supervision of Russian peacekeepers.
