Russia has stated its readiness to consider joining the TRIPP project (the transport corridor between Armenia and Azerbaijan). Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova announced at a briefing that Moscow is interested in participating and is prepared to offer Russian Railways' expertise for the project's implementation.
During his visit to Estonia, the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, said that he considers it possible to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan along with the declaration of dissolution of the structures of the OSCE Minsk Group.
In addition, according to the Prime Minister, his country wants to regulate relations with Turkey and further improve them with Georgia and Iran, as well as deepen cooperation with the EU.
"Yerevan does not intend to aggravate or break relations with the Russian Federation. We are trying to find a balance between Moscow and the EU," Pashinyan explained.
Earlier in Azerbaijan, it was stated more than once that in order to sign a peace agreement, Armenia must amend its Constitution in order to eliminate existing territorial claims. Also, according to Baku, the OSCE Minsk Group should be abolished.
