Major General Vladimir Kotov, previously deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Voronezh Region, has been appointed Minister of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia. The ceremony to introduce the new head of the department was held in Magas.

In the National Assembly of Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan touched upon key issues of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, regional communications and international agreements. He noted that during the talks in Washington, Armenia and Azerbaijan reaffirmed their commitment to the principles of mutual recognition of territorial integrity and sovereignty. Pashinyan emphasized that this had become an important consensus between the parties.
The Prime Minister also announced plans to modernize the border control system, including the introduction of automated document verification systems at all borders of Armenia and at airports. In his opinion, such automation will improve the efficiency of border control.
In addition, Pashinyan criticized the OSCE Minsk Group with the participation of Russia. He stated that its activities did not contribute to the resolution of the conflict, but rather delayed it and served as an instrument of influence on Armenia and the region.
In conclusion, Pashinyan announced the arrival of peace: "Peace has already arrived. I say: “Everyone, people, peace has been established, let’s live happily and joyfully.” And I added: “You have a problem: to destroy the established peace – I will not allow you to do this, don’t even dream about it.”
