Pashinyan announced the need for the support of the world community in the Karabakh issue

Peace in the South Caucasus is possible, but only with the active support of the civilized community. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote about this in his microblog.

“The international community must take decisive steps to stop the Yugoslav Sarajevo-style siege of Nagorno-Karabakh,” Pashinyan said. At the same time, he noted that the fate of Nagorno-Karabakh should be decided by the region itself, its rights and security should be discussed in the format of a dialogue with Azerbaijan using international mechanisms.

“So the people and authorities of Karabakh will have the opportunity to ask questions that concern them and bear political responsibility. ▫️We need to think about whether it is worth addressing the solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue in the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace treaty or should we be guided by a different logic,” the Armenian prime minister concluded.
