Today, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov posted a joint photo on his Telegram channel with the senator from Dagestan, billionaire Suleiman Kerimov, with whom he had a violent conflict last summer and fall. Armenia is ready to be as close to the European Union as it deems possible. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in an interview with the British publication The Telegraph.
In response to a question about the possible arrest of Putin in the event of a visit to Yerevan, Pashinyan said that he does not make such decisions in Armenia. Previously, the country became a member of the International Criminal Court, which issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Putin.
“Armenia is not going to terminate cooperation with the Russian Federation in the field of security. We are only working on developing relations with the EU, France, the USA, Iran, India and other countries, and are holding discussions with them,” the prime minister noted. Also, according to him, the Armenian government, as before, has the political will to achieve peace in the region and sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan.
