A resident of Ingushetia who was captured by the "SVO" spoke about threats and torture

Previously convicted native of Nazran Khadzhibikar Barkinkhoev was captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and told how he was forcibly recruited to participate in the "SVO". According to him, he was tortured.

"I was threatened that if I did not sign the contract, then they would add 20 years to my term. They only gave me 13 days for training. We had to buy most of the equipment with our own money," said Khadzhibikar Barkinkhoev.

According to him, he served in the 54th motorized rifle regiment and tried to escape twice. He was caught by military police, and the commander beat him or tortured him with a stun gun. Then he was thrown into a pit for several days and sent back to the front lines.

"There are a lot of our corpses lying around, they are not being taken away. If you are wounded, they say there will be no evacuation, evacuate yourself. They are not people, but animals, they send us to be slaughtered, they do whatever they want. The commander has never even been to the front line. I don't want to go to war anymore, only to my family," Barkinkhoyev complained.
