Armenian Prime Minister will not attend Putin's inauguration

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will not attend the inauguration of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was announced by the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan. The inauguration is scheduled for May 7.

Simonyan also said that Armenia and Azerbaijan could conclude a peace treaty very soon. Negotiations between the foreign ministers of the countries will take place at the proposal of the Kazakh side on May 10.

Let us recall that the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev spoke positively about the possible imminent signing of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Almaty. It is there that the meeting of the foreign ministers of both countries should take place.

Earlier, Pashinyan announced the departure of Russian peacekeepers from the Tavush region and the imminent departure of Russian border guards from the Yerevan airport. Armenia has repeatedly pointed out the inability of Russian troops to provide support. As a result, Yerevan began to move away from Moscow and actually stopped military-political cooperation with it.

Armenian officials have repeatedly named European countries and the United States as priority partners and allies.
