The Nalchik Garrison Military Court found serviceman Akromat Bersanov-Tsaroyev guilty of leaving his unit without leave (Part 5, Article 337 of the Russian Criminal Code). He was sentenced to five years and one month in prison.
A case has been opened against a 66-year-old Crimean Tatar for calling for the return of Crimea to Ukraine

In the Kherson region of Ukraine, which is under the control of Russian troops, a criminal case was opened against 66-year-old Crimean Tatar Bilyal Abdurakhmanov under Part 2 of Art. 208 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in an illegal armed formation). He faces up to 15 years in prison.
According to investigators, Abdurakhmanov was a member of the Crimean Tatar battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan, which was recognized as “terrorist” in Russia. Russian law enforcement officers believe that the man took part in the blockade of Crimea in order to return it back to Ukraine. He is also accused of making statements about the need to destroy Russian troops in Ukraine.
