Ramzan Kadyrov Reports on Flood Relief

The Chechen Republic has been hit by severe flooding caused by heavy rainfall. The natural disaster has led to flooding, destruction of roads, housing, and infrastructure, according to regional governor Ramzan Kadyrov. He noted that relevant services were quickly deployed, and a state of emergency has been declared in several districts.

"During my inspection, I inspected the critically damaged bridge in Argun, which will be demolished and replaced with a new one. Chairman of the Republic's Government Magomed Daudov reported on the scale of the destruction: 17 bridges were damaged, dozens of homes were flooded, and gas and electricity supplies were disrupted. The situation is particularly dire in the Gudermes District, where residents were promptly evacuated from Kundukhovo and Braguny, prioritizing their safety," Kadyrov reported.

According to him, the situation remains tense but under control, and there were no casualties.
