The regions of the North Caucasus Federal District took the last places in terms of purchasing power of the population

The lowest ratio of income to the cost of a fixed set of consumer goods and services was recorded in Ingushetia. There, the average salary is 23.3 thousand rubles, for which you can buy 1.19 sets of goods and services.

Other regions of the North Caucasus Federal District are also among the outsiders: Stavropol Krai - 81st place (34.9 thousand rubles and 1.6 sets), Chechnya - 82nd place (30.8 thousand rubles and 1.53 sets), Karachay-Cherkessia - 84th place (25.8 thousand rubles and 1.32 sets).

The leader is the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, where the average income of 156 thousand rubles exceeds the cost of a fixed set by 6 times. The top ten also included the Nenets and Chukotka Autonomous Okrugs, Magadan, Sakhalin and Murmansk Oblasts, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Tatarstan.

To assess the situation, RIA Novosti experts calculated the ratio of per capita income in Russian regions and the cost of a fixed set of goods and services. This indicator allows regions to be compared by income level, taking into account their purchasing power, which depends on the level of local prices.
