Turkey continues to strengthen Azerbaijan's defense capabilities, viewing it as a fraternal state and a key ally in the region. This was stated by Turkish Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, who emphasized that cooperation is based on the principle of "one people, two states, one army."
Russia has expressed its agreement with the joint decision of Azerbaijan and Armenia to liquidate the OSCE Minsk Group, which was engaged in the settlement of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was announced by Russia's Permanent Representative to the OSCE Alexander Lukashevich, specifying that they plan to complete the process by December 2025.
According to the diplomat, this concerns the termination of the work of three structures: the Minsk Group, the position of the personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office, and the high-level planning group.
"Considering the position of the parties on the uselessness of their preservation, we see no reason to prevent their dissolution," Lukashevich noted.
Recall that on August 26, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said that the official decision to liquidate the Minsk Group would be made on September 1.
