FSB and SVR leaders warn of risks of color revolutions in CIS countries
Washington and London are working on organizing a "Ukrainian scenario" in some CIS countries. This was stated by the Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin at a meeting of the heads of security agencies and intelligence services of the CIS countries in Moscow.

"Today, Georgia is faced with another attempt at a color revolution, that is, an attempt at a coup d'etat. Let's hope that it will fail, just as the West's brazen attempts to destabilize Belarus and Kazakhstan failed before," Naryshkin said.

In turn, the Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov noted that the United States wants to create chaos in the CIS, making it a cheap resource base.

"The United States and its allies do not disdain the most unsightly methods to realize their geopolitical ambitions. In our case, this is the chaos of the Commonwealth and turning it into a cheap resource base," Bortnikov said.

Also, according to him, NATO is seeking to expand its combat capabilities in the Black Sea and gain access to the Caspian. The alliance is rapidly expanding into the Arctic and Baltic regions, Alexander Bortnikov said at the meeting.
