Saakashvili calls for increasing the scale of protests in Georgia

Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who is under arrest, called on citizens to increase street protests against the results of the parliamentary elections.
"If we want to secure the support of the West, as well as the support of the new US cabinet, we need to increase the scale of street protests. Small actions are welcome and worthy of praise, but let's not get hung up on just one big action," Mikheil Saakashvili wrote on social media.
In addition, French MEP Nathalie Loiseau, during her speech at the plenary session, spoke about the facts of fraud and intimidation in the elections in Georgia, which she attended with her colleagues.
"There was intimidation, confiscation of identity cards, this is a full set of falsification tools that I have seen in Georgia. This was followed by protests, when residents took to the streets, declaring that the elections were stolen from them. They believe in us and hope that we will not abandon them. "Georgian Dream" has become a "Georgian nightmare", this party has returned to Vladimir Putin and wants to ban opposition parties," said Nathalie Loiseau.
On October 26, parliamentary elections were held in Georgia, in which the ruling Georgian Dream won, gaining 53.92% of the votes. Afterwards, protests began in the country, organized by the opposition. The latter accuses the current authorities of falsifying the elections.
