Zapir Alkhasov, the Commissioner for Human Rights in Dagestan, has appealed to the Moscow Prosecutor, requesting an investigation into reports of violence against a woman from the republic while she was in a Moscow police station. According to the woman, officers used force against her, tore off her hijab, and handcuffed her to a chair.

In Georgia, there has been an increase in inspections of bars and restaurants, during which the migration service identifies foreign nationals working without permits. Those detained are pressured to leave the country voluntarily, under the threat of prolonged detention. Such incidents in Tbilisi and Batumi have been reported by the human rights platform APUS.

Three Russian citizens of Chechen origin, who were held in the transit zone of Tbilisi Airport for several days without explanation, have been sent away on flights to Turkey and Italy. A lawyer, who requested anonymity, told *Kavkazsky Uzel* (Caucasian Knot) that the conditions described by the men may constitute a violation of Georgian law.
