The court will consider the case of the attempted murder of the former deputy chairman of the State Council of Chechnya

In the Moscow region, a criminal case has been transferred to court on the attempted murder of the former deputy chairman of the government of Ingushetia and the State Council of Chechnya, Sherip Alikhadzhiev. Later, he was an assistant to the State Duma deputy, General Vladimir Shamanov. The defendants are the perpetrator and his accomplice.

The incident occurred on the evening of October 10, 2024, when Alikhadzhiev was on the veranda of his house in Odintsovo. An unknown person fired several shots at him and fled. The victim was taken to intensive care.

According to the prosecution, the perpetrator was offered 20 million rubles for the murder. It is known that this is a citizen of Ukraine Vasily Konovalov. The media reported that the customer of the assassination was a 45-year-old businessman from Ingushetia, Bashir Omarkhodzhaev. Previously, they both served their sentences in the same penal colony.
