Chechen official and businessman linked to Kadyrov received Serbian passport

Grozny Vice Mayor Ruslan Alisultanov, linked to the family of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, received Serbian citizenship. This was reported by the publication "Important Stories".

Alisultanov served as Grozny Vice Mayor from 2018 to 2020. Then he became Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Chechnya. In 2023, his company took control of the former assets of the major French dairy producer Danone. Its CEO is Ramzan Kadyrov's nephew Yakub Zakriev.

The publication also noted that with the start of the "SVO", a number of Russian officials, security officials and businessmen received Serbian passports. None of these people are subject to sanctions, which means that they can all freely visit Europe.

These individuals include Viktor Shendrik (former officer of the FSB special forces "Vympel", head of the security service of Russian Railways and former head of the security service of the oligarchs Arkady and Boris Rotenberg) and Nikolai Urayev (son-in-law of the long-time manager of the defense state corporation "Rostec", head of the helicopter manufacturing holding "Russian Helicopters" Nikolai Kolesov) and others.
