All Russian TV channels may be closed in Armenia
Russia is in no hurry to respond to Armenia's proposal to resolve issues related to the broadcasting of Russian TV channels. This gives the government of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan the opportunity to block all Russian channels in the near future, writes the Armenian newspaper Past.

In May, the Armenian authorities suspended the broadcasting of the First Russian Channel. The formal reason was the debt to the Armenian television and radio broadcasting network. As noted by the country's Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, the Russian partners did not fulfill their contractual obligations, having accumulated a 2.5-month debt. Later, the broadcasting was resumed.

In March, Yerevan blocked the broadcast of two programs by pro-Kremlin propagandist Vladimir Solovyov. Earlier, Nikol Pashinyan said that in Russia, Armenian citizens were called upon to take to the streets and overthrow the government. In addition, according to him, Russian TV channels have been systematically propaganda against the Armenian government and him personally for several years.
