An injured bird, listed in the Red Book, was rescued in Armenia

An injured griffon vulture was found in a village in the Sisian community of Armenia. This rare bird species is listed in the country's Red Book.

The bird is now in a safe location, and its condition has improved. The rescue service, in collaboration with the Inspectorate for Nature Protection and Mineral Resources, reports that specialists have transported the red-listed bird to Yerevan for a comprehensive veterinary examination.

Rescuers urged that any incidents involving rare and endangered species be reported to the competent authorities immediately. The appeal emphasizes that timely assistance can play a key role in saving the animal and preserving biodiversity.
