Georgia's ruling Georgian Dream party has appealed to the Constitutional Court to ban the activities of approximately ten opposition political groups.

The Baku Media Development Agency (MEDIA) accused Russian TV presenter and propagandist Vladimir Solovyov of disrespecting Azerbaijan and demanded an apology from him. The reason was his statement on air on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, in which he repeatedly used the word "Artsakh" and accused the Armenian authorities of "giving Artsakh" to Azerbaijan.
As noted in the agency's statement, the TV presenter "distorts historical facts, demonstrates hostility towards Azerbaijan and resorts to rhetoric that is incompatible with journalistic ethics." Baku assessed Solovyov's words as an attempt to incite hatred and emphasized that such statements on the Russian state TV channel undermine Azerbaijani-Russian relations.
Azerbaijan considers Karabakh (Artsakh in Armenian) to be its internationally recognized territory. The international community and official Moscow adhere to the same position. Last year, the Azerbaijan Press Council condemned Solovyov for attempting to link the country to the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in the Moscow region. Earlier, he stated that one of the attackers, the alleged terrorists, had an "Azerbaijani surname." The terrorist attack at Crocus became the second in Russia in terms of the number of victims after Beslan. At least 137 people died. On March 24, a day of mourning for the victims of the tragedy was declared in the Russian Federation.
