The Kyiv District Court of Simferopol remanded four Crimean Tatar women: Esma Nimetulayeva, Elviza Aliyeva, Nasiba Saidova, and Fevziye Osmanova, in pretrial detention for two months. The hearing was held behind closed doors, with limited access for support.

The Nozhai-Yurtovsky District Court in Chechnya sentenced Said-Magomed Omarov, a taxi driver from Grozny, to eight years and two months in a strict regime penal colony. He was convicted of the murder in 2017 of a resident of Dagestan.
Earlier, Omarov testified about the involvement of four Chechen law enforcement officers in the kidnapping and death of a man, but later he suddenly took the blame. According to human rights activists, the guilt of the convict is not supported by evidence - neither phone billing, nor CCTV footage. He has already been sentenced twice, but the Supreme Court of Chechnya each time demanded a review of the sentence.
In 2017, Aleksey Kardashov, a resident of Khasavyurt, was taken to Chechnya on suspicion of illegal sale of a potent drug. His car was stolen and money was taken from his card. The body has not yet been found. In 2019, four security officials were put on the wanted list in connection with the case: Alikhan Yusupov, the head of the drug control department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Chechnya, Alikhan Yusupov, his deputy, Kaloga Aziev, as well as members of the National Guard Aslan Dukaev and Bekhan Abdurashidov. At the same time, the Russian Guardsmen were arrested, and Yusupov and Aziev were put on the federal wanted list.
On June 6, the Gudermes City Court found Abdurashidov and Dukaev guilty of illegally detaining Alexei Kardashov. The security forces were sentenced to two years probation under the article on abuse of power, excluding the article on kidnapping from the charge.
