In Dagestan, officials were fined for not raising Russian flags

The prosecutor's office of the Babayurt district of Dagestan fined the heads of nine villages for violating the procedure for the official use of state symbols. They were found guilty of not ordering the raising of Russian flags on buildings.

This administrative article 17.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses provides for fines for officials in the amount of five to seven thousand rubles.

In April, eight people were fined in the Karachay-Cherkessia and Kabardino-Balkaria for not standing up during the performance of the Russian anthem. According to the investigation, eight participants deliberately did not stand up during the performance of the Russian anthem during sporting events.

Recall that last year in the Kabardino-Balkaria, nine citizens were fined 1,000 rubles on a similar charge. It was reported that the parents of ninth-graders did not rise from their seats during the performance of the anthem at the graduation ceremony at School No. 33.
