In Dagestan, children whose relatives have been accused of extremism and terrorism are being instilled with "traditional Russian spiritual and moral values"

The Ministry of National Policy and Religious Affairs of Dagestan has allocated approximately one million rubles for programs for children from families with individuals accused of terrorism and extremism.

According to the tender documentation for the state procurement, trips to memorial sites, such as the memorials in Volgograd (Battle of Stalingrad) and Beslan (City of Angels), were organized as part of "developing an anti-terrorist and anti-extremist worldview." The goal of the events was to introduce the children to history and instill in them "traditional Russian spiritual and moral values."

The program, organized by the Dagestan Humanitarian Institute, concluded on September 15 and was designed for a group of at least 35 schoolchildren and 10 chaperones.
