For seven days now, tens of thousands of volunteers from across the North Caucasus have been searching for little hero Khizir Derbichev, who was swept away by the powerful current of the Sunzha River near the village of Yandare in the Nazran District of Ingushetia. Despite fatigue, icy water, and challenging conditions, the men are carefully surveying the underwater area and the shoreline, searching under rocks, trees, and slabs.
Raids to find draft dodgers have begun in Dagestan and Ingushetia
Security forces, together with military registration and enlistment office employees, are conducting raids in Dagestan and Ingushetia as part of a covert mobilization. Checkpoints are being opened in Dagestani settlements, where young people are stopped to be taken to the military registration and enlistment office to check their military IDs. In addition, cases of targeted checks have been recorded. This was reported by the Chechen opposition Telegram channel Niyso.
According to the channel, similar events took place in Ingushetia: in Nazran, Karabulak, Malgobek, Sunzha and Magas. As part of the raids, security forces stopped cars and entered computer clubs.
“The Russian army is experiencing an extreme shortage of cannon fodder to continue its war, and in such a situation, the colonized peoples, according to their plan, should die while the children of officials bathe in luxury,” writes Niyso.
In November, residents of Magas reported checks of military ID cards of motorists and their passengers.
