Two protesters in support of Navalny detained and fined in Dagestan

A court in Makhachkala fined 2,000 rubles under Part 1 of Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (disobedience to the order of a law enforcement officer) of a local resident, Ibragim Parkuev. On June 4, he came out with a poster "Happy birthday, Alexey." Parkuev was detained and taken to the Sovetskoye police department of Makhachkala. He was charged with insubordination to police officers and aggression.

Also on that day, in Derbent, security forces detained activist Mukhammed Dzhambulatov, who went out to a solo picket with a poster "Pardon Navalny." Mohammed was released with a protocol under the article on "petty hooliganism." According to Dzhambulatov, the security forces mocked and insulted him.

Recall that June 4 is the birthday of the convicted opposition politician Alexei Navalny. On this day, in different cities of the Russian Federation, supporters of the oppositionist went to pickets in his support.
