Dagestan records the highest growth in prices for new apartments in Russia

From 2021 to the end of 2023, prices for new apartments in Dagestan increased by 193%. The region became the leader in the country in this indicator. There are only 20.9 square meters of housing under construction per 100 residents of the republic.

Experts explained this by the high birth rate, migration and the desire of young families to improve their living conditions, which created pressure on the real estate market. In addition, the growth in demand for apartments in new buildings was facilitated by the development of mortgage lending.

In Kalmykia, over three years, prices for apartments in new buildings increased by 179% (24.6 square meters per 100 people), in Altai - by 148% (25.6 square meters), in Kabardino-Balkaria - by 137% (38.4 square meters). These regions took the next places after Dagestan.

Earlier, Dagestan became the leader in Russia in terms of the cost of land for individual housing construction.
