Germany asks for 11 years in prison for accused of attempted assassination of critic of Chechen leadership

At a meeting of the Higher Regional Court of Munich, the German Federal Prosecutor's Office demanded that Valid Dadakaev be sentenced to 11 years in prison. He is accused of attempting to assassinate opposition leader Muhammad Abdurakhmanov, brother of Tumso Abdurakhmanov.

According to the Federal Prosecutor's Office of Germany, in 2020 Dadakaev did not have time to commit a crime, he was detained. During a search, they found a pistol with a silencer, from which it was planned to shoot Abdurakhmanov. The main witness in the case is another Chechen - Tamerlan A. According to the investigation, he was supposed to become the perpetrator of the crime. The investigation believes that Dadakaev offered Tamerlan to kill Abdurakhmanov, but he told the victim himself about the impending crime.

Valid Dadakaev had a direct relationship with Paruddi Edelgiriev, Ramzan Kadyrov's cousin, and acted on his instructions. This was reported by the German prosecutor's office.
