Georgia announces daily protests against election results

A march of the opposition and its supporters took place in Tbilisi under the slogan "No to Russian elections!" The protesters marched demanding a repeat vote in the parliamentary elections. The participants of the action announced plans to hold daily protests.

One of the leaders of the coalition "For Change" Nika Melia said: "When a specific day comes, I believe, we believe that we will all stand together and together with the Georgian people declare that no one will enter the parliament in which we have no place. This is important for us in the near future, we must do this."

The leader of the Girchi party Iago Khvichia said at a rally near the Georgian parliament that if the Central Election Commission does not call re-elections, then the opposition gathered at the rallies should go to the building of the election administration and personally call the elections.

The parliamentary elections in Georgia were held on October 26. According to the Central Election Commission, the ruling Georgian Dream party, which advocates maintaining relations with the Russian Federation and is against anti-Russian sanctions, won.
