The Georgian opposition in parliament switched to a boycott regime. The parties “LELO”, “Girchi-Meti Ravisupleba” and “UNM” will no longer be present at the meetings. Their leaders said the ruling Georgian Dream party had left no room for cooperation. They say she is mistreating activists and politicians and therefore political life will not continue as usual.
The chairman of the largest opposition party, UNM, Levan Khabeishvili, said that “Georgia is in trouble, and silence today is a crime.”
“Ivanishvili and his entourage signed Georgia’s slide into the abyss, and that’s where they are sending the future of our children. Thank you to the United States of America and Europe for supporting the Georgian people. Never before has victory over evil been so close. Strength is in unity,” Khabeishvili emphasized.
