Detainees released in Georgia after incident near Kakha Kaladze's headquarters

Two people detained in connection with the case of group violence during the rally near the election headquarters of Tbilisi mayoral candidate Kakha Kaladze on September 8-9 have been released. This was reported by the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to him, the injured activists refused to testify, which made it impossible to bring the attackers to justice. As a result, the charges of group violence against them were dropped.

As for the third detainee, activist Megi Diasamidze, arrested for damaging property, the prosecutor's office appealed to the court with a demand to appoint bail for her. According to the department, after paying the amount, she will also be released in the coming hours.
