Ingushetia has some of the lowest salaries in the country

According to statistics, in the first ten months of 2025, Ingushetia had one of the lowest wages in Russia—42,800 rubles. Furthermore, according to Rosstat, more than a quarter of Ingushetia's population (25.6%) lived below the poverty line in 2023-2024, making the region the leader in this indicator.

This situation contrasts sharply with the top-ranked regions: in Chukotka, the average salary reaches 198,000 rubles, while in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Moscow, it is 176,000 and 173,000 rubles, respectively. The Magadan Region and Kamchatka also recorded salaries exceeding 100,000 rubles.

As for the North Caucasus Federal District, the highest figure is recorded in Stavropol Krai—61,000 rubles.
