The Nalchik Garrison Military Court sentenced Suleiman Batyrkhanov to one year in a general regime penal colony for leaving his unit without permission during mobilization.
According to investigators, on August 26, 2025, Batyrkhanov failed to report to his military unit stationed in the village of Troitskaya in Ingushetia without good reason. Police officers located him on September 17 in the city of Mozdok (North Ossetia).
During the court hearing, Batyrkhanov fully admitted his guilt. Despite this, the court deemed his actions a serious crime against military service and sentenced him to one year in prison.
