Maxim Sleptsov, a resident of Stavropol, was taken to the police because of a repost in the social network of calls to come to the actions in honor of the birthday of Alexei Navalny on June 4. Protocols were drawn up against the detainee on organizing an uncoordinated public action and on demonstrating the symbols of an extremist organization. The man faces more than 10 days of arrest.
In mid-May, associates of opposition politician Alexei Navalny announced a worldwide rally in his support. They called on citizens of different countries to take to the squares of their cities on June 4, Navalny's birthday.
