The highest salaries in a number of regions of the North Caucasus are formed in the civil service. This is where many local residents are trying to get into.

In particular, in Makhachkala, civil servants receive an average of 67 thousand rubles, in Grozny and Cherkessk - 63 thousand, in Magas - 61 thousand. In Vladikavkaz, the most profitable area of ​​employment is energy (57 thousand rubles), in Stavropol - construction (127 thousand rubles).

RIA Novosti analysts made calculations based on official statistics for the first quarter of 2025. The highest salaries were found in the areas of "Professional and scientific activity", "Manufacturing" and "IT and communications". The leaders of the rating are Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Moscow and Anadyr with incomes from 282 to 445 thousand per month.
