The search for 8-year-old Khizir Derbichev, swept away by a powerful river current in Ingushetia, has been ongoing for eight days now. Since early morning, a new shift of volunteers entered the cold waters of the Sunzha River and continued combing the area in hopes of finding the little hero who dared to risk his life to save his friend.
Several “Kadyrovites” were recently captured by Ukrainian military personnel. Representatives of the Akhmat unit immediately contacted the Ukrainian authorities and demanded the immediate return of their fighters, warning that otherwise further exchanges of prisoners of war would be stopped. This was reported by the unified center for receiving requests for surrender “I want to live.”
The project also indicates that Akhmat is a “privileged caste in the Russian armed forces” and the Russian side seeks to return its military first. Among those recently captured are Magomed Amashaev, Roman Bibulatov and Magomed Bizukaev. After Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Karpenko recorded an interview with some Kadyrov prisoners of war, Chechen Minister for Information Policy Akhmed Dudayev released a video against the backdrop of Ukrainian prisoners of war taken to Chechnya.
According to the “I Want to Live” project, there are two “Akhmats”. One consists of Kadyrov’s men and is used selectively as special forces or a barrier detachment behind the backs of conscripts. Another “Akhmat” is staffed by Russians and is intended for use in “meat” assaults - if they are captured, then no one fights for them.
