A meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee was held in Moscow, dedicated to countering the spread of terrorist ideology, neo-Nazism, and religious extremism in the North Caucasus Federal District.

In response to a recent statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili said that the country would restore its territorial integrity peacefully.
Recall that Zelensky said: “Ukraine’s victory in the war with the Russian Federation will give Georgia and Moldova the opportunity to restore their territorial integrity. This is a chance for peace in the South Caucasus.” The head of the Ukrainian state had in mind the return of Georgia to Abkhazia and South Ossetia, which are actually under Russian control.
Earlier, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said that his country supports Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, but will not impose direct sanctions against Russia. According to him, the Georgian economy will collapse if anti-Russian sanctions are introduced.
