Russian authorities put Georgian citizen wanted on suspicion of blowing up Crimean Bridge

Russian authorities have put Georgian citizen Alexander Inasaridze and Ukrainian citizen Sergey Andreychenko on the international wanted list. They are suspected of involvement in the blowing up of the Kerch Bridge in 2022.

Recall that on the morning of October 8, 2022, a truck was blown up on the Crimean Bridge, which caused the tanks of a nearby freight train to catch fire. Four people were killed, and two spans of the automobile part of the bridge collapsed. Soon, the FSB of the Russian Federation announced that it had arrested five Russian citizens, as well as three citizens of Ukraine and Armenia, in connection with the incident. In addition, it was allegedly possible to find accomplices, two of whom are citizens of Georgia.

Earlier, the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested in absentia Georgian citizen Alexander Inasaridze and the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasily Malyuk on charges of committing a terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge. The lawyer for the Georgian citizen, Margarita Khoreva, stated in court that "his involvement in the commission of the incriminated crime has not been properly established."
