A Chechen doctor deleted a video of a controversial patient's visit, not wanting to "ignite an interethnic conflict"

Adam Babatkhanov, a physician at a Moscow clinic and a native of Chechnya, whose video of a patient's xenophobic outburst sparked widespread controversy on social media, deleted the video shortly after it was posted. He explained his decision by citing his reluctance to "be the kind of person who fuels interethnic conflicts, or any conflict in general, even accidentally."

"I filmed and uploaded this video to show what a therapist's daily life can sometimes be like, but I certainly didn't want to incite the interethnic conflict I observed in the comments, which is why I deleted it. First and foremost, I am a doctor, and my main goal is to treat people," Adam emphasized in a video message.

Furthermore, the young doctor responded to a wry question from users admiring his stress resilience about what kind of magnesium he takes. According to him, the secret lies in one's inner attitude: remaining calm and not responding to provocative situations, not only at work but in life in general.

"So the best magnesium is these qualities," Adam Babatkhanov assured.

He thanked the authors of the positive comments for their kind words and welcomed his new subscribers.
