Глава Чечни Рамзан Кадыров награжден орденом «Группа войск в Германии». Награду вручил председатель чеченской региональной общественной организации «Союз ветеранов Группы советских войск в Германии Чеченской Республики» Муса Кавраев.

Journalist Yelena Milashina, who was brutally attacked in Chechnya, has been discharged from the hospital, but will remain under medical supervision. In support of this, she published a post on her Facebook account:
“Dear colleagues, I was indeed discharged (however, on Monday, together with Sasha Nemov). Yesterday I got registered with the doctors, and I felt a little ill at the neurologist. Apparently, this is due to a traumatic brain injury and the fact that we still need to reduce activity. I will not be responding to requests for interviews and comments for at least a couple of days, I need to rest.
On Friday, the first investigative action with my participation is expected, an investigator from Chechnya will arrive in Moscow. After that, if you continue to be interested in the topic, I will comment on the situation. Now, besides the fact that I was discharged and I (if I obey the doctors), of course, I will get better, I have nothing to say, except for what has already been said.
Thank you and everyone who was worried and supported Sasha and me, HUGE!”.
Recall that on July 4, about 10-15 men in balaclavas attacked journalist Elena Milashina and lawyer Alexander Nemov on their way from the airport to the Grozny court. They were on their way to the announcement of the verdict in the case of Zarema Musayeva, who was sentenced to five and a half years on trumped-up charges. Both victims received serious injuries.
Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the incident was reported to Vladimir Putin. The case was taken over by the chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin. The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said he had instructed the competent authorities to identify the attackers.
According to observers, they will try to hush up the case and divert attention with other events. Experts believe that the authorities of Chechnya are the masterminds of the crime.
