The Georgian opposition interpreted the presence of representatives of the ruling Georgian Dream party at the event alongside Putin as a decision to reconsider the country's foreign policy.
Resident of Stavropol fined for anti-war comment
The Oktyabrsky District Court of Stavropol found a local resident Rasim Gamidov guilty under Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “Discrediting the Armed Forces of Russia” and fined him 30,000 rubles. The accused did not appear in court.

Responsibility for discrediting the Russian army was introduced in March 2022. Upon repeated involvement, the fine is replaced by criminal prosecution.
