A resident of Chechnya was fined for publishing a song by Timur Mutsuraev

A resident of Grozny named Dzhambetov has been brought to administrative responsibility for the distribution of songs by the Chechen bard Timur Mutsuraev in the WhatsApp messenger. He posted in open access the composition "12 thousand Mujahideen", which the court considered extremist material.

Dzhambetov pleaded guilty. He was given the most lenient punishment under the article - a fine of 1,000 rubles. The song "12 thousand Mujahideen" ("Crimson at sunset") says that 12 thousand soldiers of Islam - Chechens - will conquer Jerusalem.

Timur Mutsuraev has become popular since the first Russian-Chechen
war. Initially, he performed songs in Russian about the war, brotherhood, duty and fallen comrades. Later, the subject expanded: texts of a religious nature with calls for jihad were added. The list of "extremist" songs includes about 30 songs out of more than 100 in the musician's repertoire.
