Russia does not intend to comply with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruling requiring Georgian citizens to pay over 250 million euros, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated. When asked about the possibility of improving Russian-Georgian relations if the payment were made, Peskov noted that the Kremlin views this issue as a separate matter.
Residents of Dagestan fined for publication of Timur Mutsuraev’s song

Artur Taibov, a resident of Dagestan Derbent, was brought to administrative responsibility for distributing songs of the Chechen bard «Vkontakte» in the social network. He put the composition "Chechnya in flames", which the court considered extremist.
Taibov admitted guilt. He received the mildest punishment under the article - a fine of 1 thousand rubles.
Timur Mutsuraev has been popular since the first Russian-Chechen war. Initially, he performed songs in Russian about war, brotherhood, duty and fallen comrades. Later, religious texts calling for jihad were added. The list of «extremist» songs includes about 30 songs out of more than 100 available in the repertoire of the musician.
