Zurabishvili said that the heads of democratic countries have been informed about the events in Georgia
Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili said that she personally told the leaders of all the world's leading democratic countries about what is happening in Georgia. In this context, she noted that the number of meetings and telephone conversations she has held is countless, and the number of interviews with foreign media has exceeded 300.

"Now everyone knows everything. This was my task. What is happening in Georgia today is unacceptable for any democratic country, and everyone must react," Zurabishvili said.

Amid mass statements by foreign leaders condemning the Georgian authorities, Hungary has spoken out against the application of EU sanctions against them. This was stated by the country's Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.

"If the opposition had won the elections, Brussels would have been shouting loudly about democracy in Georgia... Now they are doing everything to deny and ignore the will of the citizens [of Georgia]. They are doing this in a completely undemocratic manner. They are questioning the will of the Georgian people, which they expressed through democratic elections. This is a serious and, let's say, boring game of the liberal mainstream, which will be rejected," the Hungarian diplomat emphasized.

It is reported that the EU is planning to take action against the Georgian government in connection with the use of violence against protesters. This issue will be discussed at a meeting of EU diplomats next week, Aktualnaya Kamera reports.
