Airports in the North Caucasus Federal District suspended operations due to drone threats

Today, a drone alert was declared in the North Caucasus. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Dagestan, as well as the heads of North Ossetia, Stavropol Krai, and Kabardino-Balkaria.

Starting at 7:00 a.m., a "Carpet" alert was declared in the North Caucasus Federal District, and airports in Vladikavkaz, Grozny, and Magas were temporarily suspended.

Furthermore, due to adverse weather conditions, power outages were observed in Dagestan, North Ossetia, and Ingushetia. A high alert was declared in 36 municipalities in Dagestan.

Due to heavy snowfall and avalanche danger, the cable car service at the Elbrus resort in Kabardino-Balkaria has been suspended. At the Mamison resort in North Ossetia, only one ski run is operational.
