Drones Attack Stavropol Plant Again

The Azot chemical plant in Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol Krai, was attacked by drones. According to the mayor, there were no casualties or damage as a result of the incident. In total, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, nine Ukrainian UAVs were intercepted in the region overnight.

This is not the first such incident this summer. The plant was previously attacked on June 14 and July 25. According to Reuters, between 2022 and 2024, EuroChem plants (including Nevinnomyssk Azot) supplied acetic and nitric acid, used in the production of explosives for artillery shells, to the Sverdlov plant in Dzerzhinsk.
