Some Ukrainians detained on the border with Georgia have returned home

65 Ukrainian citizens forcibly taken by Russia to the border with Georgia have returned home. This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko.

According to him, the people spent three months in terrible conditions without means of subsistence or medical care.

"They were essentially abandoned to their fate. On the instructions of the President of Ukraine, we managed to return them home," Klimenko emphasized.

The return operation was organized on the instructions of the President of Ukraine and with the participation of various departments, as well as law enforcement agencies of Moldova and Georgia. Another 22 Ukrainians remain detained on the border.
