The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry responded to the broadcast of a distorted map on Russia's Channel One. The program, "Vremya Pokazhet," presented Nagorno-Karabakh as a separate territory within Azerbaijan. Baku requested an explanation from Russia, calling the incident a serious provocation and unacceptable political manipulation.
According to a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry, 28 Ukrainian drones were intercepted by air defense systems over the Stavropol Krai on the night of March 19. This incident is part of a larger attack, during which, according to the ministry, a total of 138 UAVs were shot down over various Russian regions, including Crimea, Krasnodar Krai, and Rostov Oblast.
Stavropol Krai Governor Vladimir Vladimirov reported that the strike targeted the industrial zone of Nevinnomyssk, where the Azot chemical plant is located. This is not the first time this plant has been targeted: previous attacks were recorded in March 2026, January 2026, December 2025, and August 2025, as well as in July and June 2025, when an attack by 13 UAVs resulted in damage to production facilities.
