A car accident involving high-ranking officials occurred in Grozny, according to several sources, including the opposition movement Niyso. The son of the Chechen leader, 18-year-old Adam Kadyrov, was reportedly hospitalized and then flown to Moscow. According to Niyso, Grozny was cordoned off, and the new republican hospital was closed, "all for the sake of one man."

"The motorcade, as usual, was moving at high speed, car after car, when it suddenly encountered an obstacle.
