Eleven people were injured in a drone attack in Adygea

A drone attack in the village of Novaya Adygeya on the night of January 21st seriously damaged an apartment building and caused a fire. Eleven people were injured. The fire destroyed 15 cars, and another 25 were damaged.

A temporary accommodation center was quickly set up at the Shapsug recreation center for evacuated residents of Novaya Adygeya in the Republic of Adygea. According to the head of the region, Murat Kumpilov, the evacuees will be provided with everything they need for a comfortable stay while the aftermath of the incident is being addressed.

Municipal authorities have declared a state of emergency at the district level. Damage assessment and recovery plan development began this morning. Residents will be allowed back into their homes gradually, following the completion of a law enforcement survey.
