A man accused of aiding terrorists was extradited from Egypt to Ingushetia

At the request of the Russian authorities, a native of Ingushetia was extradited from Egypt. The man is accused of committing terrorist crimes.

According to investigators, from June to October 2023, a 55-year-old resident of the Russian region provided a private house in the settlement of Troitskoye to members of a cell of an international terrorist organization. The housing was a secret one.

The suspect subsequently fled abroad. In Russia, he was charged in absentia with committing terrorist crimes and put on the international wanted list.
